Quick Stay in MA

We arrived at Quinebaugh Cove Campground in Brimflield, MA yesterday afternoon. We are here for only 3 nights before heading to Moody Beach Campground in Wells, ME. There is access to a 5.5 mile canoe/kayak trail at the campground called Quinebaug River Trail. We decided to take the inflatable kayak out for a little excursion. Myah joined us too. This was actually her 2nd time in the kayak, and she did great!

The way out was challenging because we were going against the current. Even though it was a hot day, the cool breeze made it enjoyable. We came upon some wildlife, such as blue heron and some geese. It was very peaceful to be out on the water where the only sounds were the rustling of the trees and the water lapping at the end of our paddles. The way back was like being on a lazy river as the current gently carried us back to the campground.

Since I am not officially retired until June 30th, I am working remotely in the RV for the next 8 days. I can think of worse places to work.
